Hello! I’m Jac Bowie, mornings host at Hitz 93.9 in Bundaberg and host/producer of Wedding Empires Podcast.
With a tapestry of talents ranging from event production to digital marketing mastery, my journey has been anything but ordinary.
I also own The Wedding Academy, where I fuse my passion for events with digital innovation to create magic daily.
As a host & producer
After studying at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), I kicked off my career as the Drive Announcer for Mix 104.9 in Darwin.
Now, I'm thrilled to be back on the airwaves, embracing my role as the Content Director for Hitz 93.9 and 4BU in beautiful Bundaberg.
But that's not all—I also pour my heart into hosting and producing the Wedding Empires podcast with my co-host, wedding photographer Ben Connolly. Together, we share our passion and expertise with wedding professionals, helping them build their own empires and create unforgettable moments.
Delving deep into the nuances of event planning, wedding coordination, and the dynamic world of digital marketing, I unfold the layers of expertise required to thrive in these domains. As an event producer
After 10 years as a theatre producer in Australia, I founded the international women's network, Business in Heels, and the later, bespoke Australian wedding planning service, Darling Don't Panic. With over 15 years under my belt, I’ve orchestrated over 500 events, each a testament to my love for creating experiences that resonate and linger.
My dedication to excellence in event styling and planning has not gone unnoticed. Honored as one of the top 15 wedding and event stylists in Australia and New Zealand by Truly Madly Deeply and listed among the top 20 wedding planners on Instagram by Hello May and featured across renowned platforms such as Wedded Wonderland and WedShed.
